2nd Annual Plant Sale – May 29

May 29, 2010 – 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Perennials are growing larger, and new plants break through the soil, each day. Many long time residents of my gardens need division. Choice plants that were special purchases for last year’s sale¬†are strong and healthy, ready to be potted up for this year’s sale.

The sale will include many plants from my garden plus some special purchases for the sale. Some of the things you can expect to find include:

  • Anemone (windflower)
  • ,Geraniums
  • Asaraum canadense (wild ginger)
  • Hosta – several varieties.
  • Iris siberica¬†
  • Digitalis “Fairy Queen Apricot”
  • Chrysanthemum (a rosy-purple that has survived 8 years in my garden)
  • Hydrangea arborescens (a native heirloom)
  • Fragaria virginica (wild strawberry, that bears tiny, intensely flavored fruit.)
  • books on gardening
  • other garden related items.
