About the Designer

Ellen Todd is a landscape designer residing in Groton, Massachusetts. She specializes in sustainable landscapes, and serves clients primarily in Middlesex County and on Cape Cod. She studied landscape design at the Landscape Institute of the Arnold Arboretum, Harvard University. The Landscape Institute is now part of the Boston Architectural College.

Ellen’s interest in plants and gardening began in childhood, encouraged by grandparents who were farmers and avid gardeners. She has used her formal training and years of practical experience to design, plant and maintain gardens in a wide variety of locations and conditions, including: rural farms, small city lots, wetland properties, oceanfront yards, and suburban yards.

Todd Landscape Design offers a full range of services, from a two-hour consult, garden or masterplan design, and supervising the installation process.
